When search engines give high search rankings to certain sites, those will attract most web traffic per domain, which essentially depends on popularity, effective link building and optimization. They are the websites that appear first on the search result pages of the search engine. Different algorithms are used by Google to give the ranking, and although content relevance and traffic are essential, they are not the only ones involved in the process. High search rankings generally depend on three major elements.
One way links from other websites that are somehow related to yours by domain play a great part here. Also known as backlinks, these URLs reflect the popularity of your pages with other users. Here is a relevant example for this reference system. Let’s consider two sites: A and B. Site A has just created 10 friendly links so far, while site B has 50 backlinks. Both sites get Google indexation, but site B will get high search rankings because of this link-based popularity. You can improve the page rank (PR) by implementing some strategies meant to create more links and increase traffic.
