One of the commonest risk factors that may majorly make a contribution to the problem of diabetes is obesity. This factor is in truth a first cause for type two diabetes. More is the obesity; more is the chance of diabetes. This is so because the extra fat as present in the body hampers the emission of insulin. As there is a weight gain ; the resistance to insulin augments. This ends in increase of the sugar levels of the body. So its all the more important to keep a watch on your weight.
